Artist

I am a self-taught artist and illustrator with a particular interest in portraits and zine making. I first began developing my artistic practice in 2017 and have since been commissioned for a range of arts based projects.

In 2018, I was commissioned to create a mural and co-create a community zine for Hidden River Festival in North East London. I designed and led a zine-making workshop ahead of the festival, hosted a stall at the festival for attendees to create their own zine page, and created a mural for the festival wrap up party, where we launched the finished zine.

In 2019, Dear Damsels commissioned me to create illustrations inspired by a short story that would be published in their 2020 print annual. I worked with the team to design three illustrations which were used throughout the story.

In 2021, I was commissioned by artist Hassun El-Zafar to create three illustrated posters to accompany their exhibition on climate change. Using fact sheets provided by the organisers, I designed three A3 resources.

In 2022, two illustrations I created of the authors Angela Carter and Jeanette Winterson were featured in an exhibition created by Illustrated Women in History for Women’s History Month. My portrait of Angela Carter was also featured in their accompanying zine.
